PASSERIFORMES: Petroicidae
Eopsaltria australis
"Yellow robins inhabit coastal eastern Australia from Victoria northwards into tropical Queensland; however, towards the north the robins become progressively more richly coloured, a little larger in size, and are known as Northern Yellow Robins..."*
The northern race chrysorrhoa of the Eastern Yellow Robin has a bright yellow rump compared to the the more olive rump of the southern nominate race.
